Although terrorism will never be entirely eradicated, establishing lasting, mutual, and collaborative alliances with the Muslim nations, including Musharraf’s regime, is one step in the right direction. It is imperative not to lose sight of the fact that this partnership has real unprecedented potential to bring stability to Central Asia.
